◆ 鬼門について
鬼門とは、北東（丑寅）の方位のこと。日本の家相では、「鬼（邪気）が出入りする方角」とされています。実は凶を招くだけではなく、非常にパワーがある方位と言われています。つまり、良くも悪くも、大きな変化を生む方位。鬼門をきちんと対処することで、思わぬ好転もあるようです。

◆ 京都と鬼門
平安時代に陰陽道が流行して以来、町の至るところに厄除けやパワースポットがある古都・京都。今でも京都では、東北の方角に鬼門除け石が多く見受けられます。

◆ ご使用方法
1. 鬼門除け角石を置く場所を決め、清潔な空間をつくりましょう。
2. ゆっくりと箱から取り出します。角が割れやすいので、丁寧に扱ってください。
3. 砂利を袋から開け、囲い石に入れてください。
4. 家の鬼門の方位に、安置します。
〇 ずっしりとした重みや、ひんやりとした感触を、お楽しみください。

◆ お手入れ方法
鬼門は、常に清潔で、換気よく、明るくあることが大切。囲い石に付着した汚れは、水を切ったスポンジや布などの柔らかい素材のものでふき取ってください。砂利は、囲い石から取り出し、ザルに入れて水洗いをし、天日干しで汚れを落としましょう。定期的に、新しい砂利に交換することもおすすめ（砂利のみの販売もございます）。

About demon’s gate
Kimon, demon’s gate, means the northeastern quarter. Japanese house physiognomy indicates its quarter as a direction that demon or evil spirit easily comes in. The important thing is, however, Kimon does not only bring bad luck. Because of its huge power, it is believed that if people take care of Kimon correctly, they can get good luck as well.

Kyoto and Kimon
Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan, has a relation to Kimon in many places. It is because that Onmyodo (陰陽道), philosophy of Yin and Yang, became very popular in Heian Period, and gradually, its idea has spread to people’s daily life in Kyoto. Even now, you could find many Kimon stones which is placed in the northeastern direction in this city. That stone is placed for purifying that important direction.

Praying for their house and shop, and entrusting their wish for stones. By practicing Kyoto’s ancient custom in the present day, you could cherish the place of yourself. How to Use
1. Decide where to place Kimon stone and make its space clean.
2. Taking Kimon stone out of a box. Hold carefully since it is fragile.
3. Open gravels and place them into Kimon stone.
4. Place it in the northeastern quarter of your place.

Maintenance
Kimon should be always clean and ventilated. Wipe dust off on Kimon stone with wringed sponge or cross.
For cleaning up gravels, taking them out, washing with water and drying in the sun, It is better to change gravels to the new ones regularly.
