柚ノ木型灯篭
平安時代に基本のデザインが造られた灯篭です。奈良春日大社・若宮社の階段を下りた水屋の山裾に置かれた灯篭が本歌です。柚子の木の下にあったことから、柚ノ木灯篭と呼ばれています。竿は三節で締まっており、力強さもあるが、比較的細く長いので、軽快な感じを与えてくれます。中台下面の蓮弁は優美な趣があり、笠は八角形で降り棟（大棟から、屋根の流れに沿い、軒先に向かって降ろした棟）になっています。厚い台は六角型で格狭間が彫られています。
岡山県産、北木石使用
素材は、岡山県の笠岡諸島にある北木島が産地の北木石。ねばりと光沢が特徴で、灯篭や墓石、建築などに使用される石材です。

Yuzu Tree Lantern
Created during the Heian period, it is called the Yuzu Tree Lantern because it was historically placed under a yuzu tree near the water pavilion at Kasuga Shrine in Nara. The pole imitates a bamboo tree, giving it a powerful aura, but its relatively slender and long shape imparts a sense of lightness. The lotus petal decorations on the underside of the platform and octagonal descending roof ridges add an elegant touch. The thick base is hexagonal and has a kozama carved into it.
Using Kitagi stone from Okayama Prefecture.
The material used is Kitagi stone, which is produced on Kitagi Island in the Kasaoka Islands of Okayama Prefecture. Characterized by its stickiness and luster, it is a stone material used for lanterns, gravestones, architecture, and more.
