伝統的なデザインの三月堂型灯篭
東大寺の法華堂（三月堂）にある灯篭が本歌で、建長六年に伊権守行未が作ったと記されています。
玉は蓮の花の台座に蕪形の宝珠、笠には蕨手が彫られており、中台は六角形の作りになっています。
日本で最も石彫刻が盛んな、愛知県岡崎市で産出された岡崎錆石を使用しています。

Sangatsudo Lantern
The original is a lantern in Todaiji Temple's Hokke-do (Sangatsu-do) and it is recorded that it was made by 伊権守行未 in the sixth year of the Kencho era.
The jewel is a turnip-shaped jewel on a lotus flower base, the cap has a carved fern handle and the base is hexagonal.
