産地で採石した自然石をまるごと使用した、キャンドルホルダーです。自然石の質感をそのまま残した、温かい雰囲気のホルダーは、自然派な空間にぴったり。自然素材のため、一つ一つかたちや大きさが違うのも愛らしい特徴です。
小豆島産福田石。ゆたかな石目が特徴の錆みかげ石
素材は、香川県小豆島産の錆石である、福田石。巨大な花崗岩が隆起して誕生した小豆島は、石材の宝庫とも言えるほど、石材資源に恵まれた土地です。
今回使用している福田石は、白と錆が混ざった珍しい石目が特徴です。錆石ならではの、あたたかい色味や、磨きをいれない、石本来の質感が魅力です。ほんのり色づいた黄色の福田石は、火の灯と相性が良く、より穏やかで落ち着いた空間を演出してくれます。
地元の工場で製作した石茂オリジナル商品
自然石キャンドルホルダーは、地元の石材工場と連携して製作した、ISHIMOだけのオリジナル商品です。地元のスタッフが、キャンドルホルダーに適したサイズの栗石を直接産地で採石したものを、工場で加工し、お届けしています。底面には、透明のゴムを接着しているので、テーブルを傷つけず、滑り止めになります。

Shodoshima Fukuda stone. A rusty mica stone with a rich texture
The material is Fukuda stone, a type of rusty stone sourced from Shodoshima in Kagawa Prefecture. Shodoshima, born from the uplift of massive granite, is blessed with abundant stone resources, making it a treasure trove of stone materials.
The Fukuda stone used this time features a unique pattern with a blend of white and rust. Its warm hues and the natural texture of the unpolished stone highlight its charm. The subtly tinted yellow Fukuda stone complements the glow of candlelight, creating a calm and soothing atmosphere.
This is an original product crafted at a local factory by Ishimo
The natural stone candle holder is an original product exclusive to ISHIMO, created in collaboration with a local stone factory. Local staff directly quarry chestnut stones of suitable sizes from the source, which are then processed at the factory and delivered to you. A transparent rubber pad is attached to the bottom, preventing scratches on your table and providing a non-slip surface.
